Russia needs expelling from the UNSC as Zelensky called for. As long as Russia is a permanent member it will be hamstrung.
There are compelling reasons to do it.
It would be insane for the US to leave the UN. And it’s not on the agenda. How would that help anyone ur anything.
Today’s vote by UNGA on Russia is not a foregone conclusion. And I’m not sure what practical good it will do.

I must admit I don't understand the logistics of getting weapons to Ukraine, but the way I see it is that we seem to be dragging our feet, not only the UK but many many more countries who at the start of this war said and say they are behind Ukraine. The way you show that is to flood them with whatever they need.

Mr Kuleba, who’s a very impressive individual, indicated at his press conference at NATO earlier that the only issue now was timescale. Which is important of course. But that all the weapons Ukraine wanted would get there.
Supply lines to Donbas are longer, even for internal logistics, so the sooner the better.
It would not surprise me if Ukraine went in the offensive in Donbas. But vital not to get cut off. These are the best forces in Ukraine’s army and they’ve hardly been in action yet
