Friday again! (How can that be though? Who stole the six days in between?).

I managed a decent enough FIVE out of seven in the main quiz this week:

. . . but only a barely passable TWO out of five in the junior quiz:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780

. . . and just a lowly THREE out of ten in the speed event:

* * * BONUS QUIZ * * *
Eight questions based upon examination papers set to school pupils by the College of Preceptors back in 1859. Despite being a former member of the College myself, I don’t think that I had any unfair advantage, as I wasn’t around in 1859 (even though I might look as if I was!). So I was quite pleased to score a maximum EIGHT out of eight with this one:

I don't think that there's much I can say, really, 10CS, except possibly "Better luck next week!"
;-)

I can just write "Ditto" for Kwillmott as well, by the look of it!
;-)

Ah! Some respectable scores at last! Well done on being a near-perfect kid and a decent sprinter too, Sharon ;-)

Hi, DTC. Well done with that near-perfect 6! The 8 is good too, although I'm not sure whether it's out of 8 or out of 10, given that there were two quizzes after the junior one!
A disappointing 4/7 - but a chirpy 3/5 and a very pleasing 7/10 for me. :)
(It's the football ones - I never know the answers. :( )
Evening Chris.
Three's across the board for me tonight.

3/7

3/5

3/10

3/8

Hope as always this finds you well ; ))
Not a good week, 2/7,2/5,4/10,5/8. Robbie purring on my lap is not helping
^^^^^ Didn't see the other. 6/8 - never could do chemistry.
Four and four this week.
Not such a good week - 5, 1 and 5.
Four on the timed as well. Gut reaction working well, brain and finger not so.
And 6 on the last one,

A couple of solid 'middling' scores, Jourdain2, and a good sprint performance . . . followed by showing that you're in touch with Victorian education ;-)
Well done!

Good evening, Sam. As always, I continue to 'struggle by' and I hope that you're well. You're certainly consistent tonight!

Stop blaming poor little Robbie for everything, Campbellking! (I'm glad that he's purring though). At least you managed better than half marks in the Victorian schoolroom anyway ;-)

Well done on being a near-perfect modern kid, Cashier. Are you going to see how good a Victorian one you can be though?
perfect on the Victorian one....and I am not Rees Mogg, HM's MP for the 19th Century
Question Author
Not too bad really, Milo2.

5/7 is a creditable score in the main quiz, 5/10 is quite good in the speed quiz (because it's always tricky) and 6/8 proves that you're a bright Victorian schoolchild ;-)

Congratulations on joining me at the top of the (Victorian) form, DTC!
3/7, 0/5 ( I can't believe it ), 6/10 and 4/8 with the bonus quiz ( maybe I'm not Victorian enough to do better ) ;-)
Consistent anyway, another four.
