Idyll is only one with a vowel?
Don't believe it's as simple as that. Why pluralise two of the words?
Could be Hymns - only one with a silent letter (n)?

Could be idyll because it's the only one in which the 'y' is pronounced differently to the 'y' in each of the other words?
Still doesn't answer my earlier point, though??
I'm wondering about lynx as urban can proceed some of the others... urban himself was a verve album, urban myths...

Were it not for the plurals, i would have said Lynx because you can add 'ic' to the others - Hymnic, Idyllic, Mythic and Rhythmic. There surely has to be a reason why those two words are pluralised?
