Yes, I was remembering that this one this morning - when I was musing on how much better you were faring these days. I'd honestly never seen anyone ask, so soon, for the whole theme (and without a single letter in it in sight). I'm sure other theme-puzzle solvers had a similar reaction to that post of yours.

I'm sorry that it came across as sounding so cross - I was genuinely gobsmacked at first! Loads and loads of help is given, regularly, for the Spectator puzzle - but there had never been anyone with a query as ...blatant as yours. I think too that some of us put a lot of effort into solving these puzzles, some ABers don't. I'm all for shortcuts at times, but...

Thanks, Tilly2. From your reaction at the time, I realised you weren't a chancer! And I am very glad that have persevered, there used to be quite a few seasoned Speccie solvers. I think the numbers dwindled.
