Know Menorca Well? Where Was I?
Some years ago whilst on holiday in Menorca I spent a few hours in a lovely little town but can't remember what it was called nor whereabouts on the island it was.
It had a harbour/marina with yachts moored up, plenty of bars and restaurants on the front. Expensive, upmarket shops. I don't remember seeing any bars advertising 'a pint for a euro' nor 'an all day full English'.
A river ran to the sea and turning round the corner from the harbour was a small square with more bars and restaurants and the quaintest little bridge crossing the narrow river.
That is all I can remember.

Either that or the bridge over the old harbour of Ciutadella. Ciutadella is an old town with cobbled streets and huge ramparts of historic buildings and a cathedral. The little bridge crosses the end of a narrow inlet where lots of yachts moor up. Cala Galdana is a seaside resort on a beautiful horseshoe bay with some nice hotels, shops and restaurants. It does have a small river estuary in it and a small bridge connecting 2 rocky headlands. The 2 places are actually very different if you can remember a bit more of the style of it.
