Have to say I totally agree with every word, his summation is 100% correct.
Who knew Sir John was a 5C lefty poltroon like me eh?
Is this the same Johnson and government who were ‘professional’ today in Parliament, according to one fanboy? PMSL

Hectoring from the sidelines isn't going to gain anything productive, but that's the sort of thing old and embittered ex-politicians do- listen to Heseltine whenever he's wheeled out for comment. Nothing progressive, nothing positive to say, just sad old men. And yes, excellent performance by Boris and team in Westminster today. Contrast that with the childish SNP's or lacklustre Labour and Keir's tortuous pre-arranged, badly timed and unfunny jokes. As Boris rightly said, any of the candidates for PM would wipe the floor with SKS.
Major led an awful government and I find it obnoxious that he parades around as some kind of elder statesman. Heseltine is similar. He's not had a sniff of government since 1997 and yet he is continually seconded by the Beeb as if he was some kind of oracle. Yesterday's men, who achieved very little.
Paigntonian,
//He's not had a sniff of government since 1997 and yet he is continually seconded by the Beeb as if he was some kind of oracle.//
Tbf he retired in 2001 anyway and given the cabinet positions he’s held and under the Prime Ministers he did he’s obviously an ‘elder statesman’ whos opinion would be valued by the media, no doubt.
His own assessment of Johnson was just as damning.
Not many senior Tories or otherwise(bar the sycophants) who’ve been praising him has there?

That’s because, such is your propensity for spouting bile at every opportunity, you haven't understood one single word the two-faced old fossil has uttered.
//“Democracy is not inevitable. It can be undone step by step, action by action, falsehood by falsehood. It needs to be protected at all times.”//
Read that^ again…. and think about it…. and if you do happen to cotton on, be afraid for the future.

Aw, poor Naomi can’t face the truth again from other Tories? Lol
The only thing that’s bilious is your continuing defence and fawning over the biggest stain on democracy this country has ever seen.
You can’t face the truth that he’s been found out for what he is, a perpetual liar.
As I’ve said, with his track record it was always going to be deceit or adultery that would finish him in the end and so it proved.
Leopards and spots and all that.

//Stop being a Nellie, FatticusInch. That's not about Boris. Read it - and try to digest it//
Are you on this planet? The whole monologue was an honest appraisal and scathing attack on Johnson and his whole cabinet who stood back and let him do what he did with perceived impunity.
If you see it any different you’re more unhinged over Johnson than I’d ever realised!
Hear it from another source. Read it slowly so it sinks in.
