I was almost finished this before I “got it” using Google but what you’ve never known you cannot recall. My ignorance should humble me but it just frustrates me!

I have all bar three unclued words which are 9D which i assume is a Hibernina surname?
14 Across which might be the author of Nostromo's surname and 30D which might begin with G or H
Could anyone shed any light on these please?

John, I think you might have guessed wrongly at one of the consonants in 30D to be asking whether it begins with "G" or "H".

If you do a search using the unclued answers you already have you should then be able to work out the remaining three and then the penny will drop regarding the title.
