Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

This crossword has normal across clues. But need to be entered in a consistent manner using crossing letters to place them correctly. Down clues and solutions are normal.
Does this mean the across clues don't go where indicated by row number? If so i have some answers which are 5 letter but no 5 letter space in the grid for across solutions.
Where am I going wrong?
E.g 10a is Pinto and 12a Terse

Please help.

Pinto starts in Row 4 Column 4
Terse starts in Row 6 column 3

All answers follow on but don't start from the places indicated and are different numbers of letters to the length of the across entries

PS be careful re the answer for 26a - it starts at Row 14 column 11 and ends at Row2 column 2
