They Say That Patience Is Virtue, Found Rarely In A Woman And Never In A Man
Well, over a week ago I posted a thread in which I mentioned that our Prime Minister had recently said to the CBI ‘Brexit is already delivering enormous benefits’ and I asked the Brexiteers to list any of those enormous Brexit benefits – but no one posted a single one of those enormous benefits.
So don’t be shy (I have plenty of time) – over to you Brexiteers, to list those enormous benefits.

I don't think the referendum included a clause saying that the UK could never, ever rejoin the EU. It may bore some people that other people don't want to have their opinions silenced forever, but that's tough, I'm afraid. People have the right to express their views and to advocate what they think would be a good direction for the country.
All right, I'll answer it. It shouldn't need saying and it's late so I'm on my way to bed. Huge, enormous benefit - we are free of the E.U.. How often does it need saying? A massive sense of relief when I read of the shenanigans and idiocies engulfing Europe. Worth anything. We have, I admit, not entered as wholeheartedly into the process (thanks to reluctant politicians and civil servants) as I would have wished - but we are holding our own in the world and once the brakes are properly off, we should fly.
T.b.h. I (and probably all other Brexiteers) have not thought it necessary to respond to yet another whingeing post. Well done N.J. for bothering.
We're out. Leave it. Come back to this in 10 years for a realistic assessment.

Zacs, you should simply do what the Brexit supporters do (except NJ) and ignore these posts.
Hymie's post is addressed to Brexiters. There are obviously no apparent benefits from Brexit, apart from the sovereignty issue, and that's a bit airy-fairy and probably not what many hoped for when they voted to leave.

//His answer is always the same - there is only one benefit, and that is that we have left something he didn't like.//
That’s not quite true. Hymie and I have been exchanging views for some time (seems like forever). Although the question was not the same as this one, I gave quite a comprehensive answer when he suggested, more than once, that the UK’s economy would be worse off by £80bn (latterly £100bn) per annum. I dissected that number and also gave a number of constitutional reasons why the UK was better off out of the EU. I can’t recall what question it was and I’m not looking for it now because it’s not really important. We’ve left, and that’s all that matters.

Of course they do. But since it took us six years and three Prime Ministers to leave I think a little respite is warranted. Say about 25 years.

thereare two types of question. Ay am not the first to point this out. One kind is, the answer is once and for all - 1947 Independence of India springs to mind.
There second is where - you get a no, and you just go on asking it until you get the answer you want - Brexit
and poss scots independence

oh ho! I spy a question of the second type - straight from the Judges mouth - can we leave , can we leave, can we leave for six years. i would say longer, much longer
and then when when we do - - oh yes we dont be asking THAT question again, for 25 y ! - - m'lud I rest my case

Shocking to see how many Brexiteers are happy with having dropped the country in the s h i t. Putting their own prejudices before the good of their country. They should be hanging their heads in shame instead of coming along here with their continuing xenophobic remarks. The forecasts which they glibly labelled Project Fear have come about and bitten them in the bum. Ho ho ho.
