Coming back to the 33 letters in the anagram indicator in te rubric. the unclued lights excluding the 1A Anniversary defintiion total 65 letters i think so which letters in the clues are ignored? the ones written in from other clues? so in 14A which is ?g?st there are only 2 letters which are part of the 33 letters? is that what it means?

My unclued lights don't appear to be connected. The two letters in 14a are not connected to the clued down answer and my unclued have the same rule. I just hope I have that correct. There appears to be a choice of last letter in 15d either S or H (one being plural) I am unsure which is to be used, as yet
