I'm sorry to keep bringing up this topic but my printer doesn't print.I know that the cartridges have ink in them,but it's sometime since I used the printer.Is there some way to "revive" the cartrdges? Thanks.

You probably just need to clean the print heads. The following instructions are for Windows 10 but other versions of Windows will be fairly similar:

Turn your printer on.

Go to the Windows search box on your computer.

Start typing 'Printers'.

When you see 'Printers & Scanners' in the results above the box, click on it.

In the list that appears, click on your printer model and then on 'Manage'.

Click on 'Printer Properties' and then on the 'Maintenance' tab.

You should then see 'Cleaning' and 'Deep Cleaning' options (or something similar - it might vary slightly across different makes and models of printers).

Try using the 'Cleaning' button and then printing out a test page. That might work but, if the printer hasn't been used for some time, it's probably more likely that you'll need to use the 'Deep Cleaning' button. (An inkjet printer ideally needs to be used at least once per week. If it's several months since you last used it, the ink in the print heads could be really dried up). If you get no joy at your first attempt, keep on trying. I've sometimes had to use 'Deep Cleaning' about a dozen times before the print heads have finally cleared on a printer that hasn't been used for a long time!

I asked a similar question, lots of helpful answers but in the end l had to buy a new cartridge. I don’t use the printer often, but l just have to remember once a month, to print out a page to keep the ink from drying out.
