Many thanks
Agree. 18 Is and 15 As.
Are you sure on this? I've checked and checked and can only find 17
Me too - 17
I have sui iuris and I suppose you have sui juris. Which is correct?
The 'I' looks to have the edge.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sui_iuris
My Collins and Concise Oxford both have SUI JURIS
Chambers also has SUI JURIS
am going with 17 - setter more likely to agree with dictionaries
I think I'll stick with iuris. The clue says a Latin phrase and if you type juris here:
https://www.online-latin-dictionary.com/latin-english-dictionary.php?parola=juris
it changes it to iuris.
I'm sure that if the clue was:
'Under judicial consideration and so prohibited from discussion elsewhere' (3, 6)
the answer would be 'sub judice' not 'sub iudice', so I'm sticking with JURIS.
You may well be right. We'll have to wait and see, but a Latin phrase can't contain a J.
Tell that to Julius Caesar :)
It was Sui Juris, so 17
