Hello again. lol
I have a full grid and all the missing letters. Does the extra 36 also have a letter missing from it as I can only find another 36 by adding a 'W'
Am I on the right track ?
And what is with the bit about 'Must be shaded in' ?

Or is it a case of, When I find the last 36 from the omitted letters. I have finished ?

This is my first Speccie, So until I get to understand them more. Any help would be appreciated.

If you mean the Shakespearean 36 then no, it doesn't have a letter missing. You need to highlight/shade the 36 which is formed from the removed letters in the final grid.

24 across is the Shakespearean reference and is thought to refer to a 36 down. Shading /highlighting starts in the second row (next to last letter of 9 across) and goes down through seven letters.

Good evening, can someone come to my rescue? I’ve filled the grid and follow the association between 24a and 36d, but am still lost as to what to do with the unclueds, how to determine the missing letters. For example, I have the Unclued 7d as: S?L?O? An example of where I go from there would be appreciated, thanks.

If you have found 36 Then 7 down is one of them with 'W' omitted.

As for the end game, I'm still at a loss as what to do.

The 7 omitted letters give a further 36 down. That reads downwards from the penultimate letter of 9 across. You just need to highlight that.

Hi Novalis, I'm obviously being thick.

The 7 omitted letters I have are (A,S,H,N,W,O,K) I thought this was meant to be Snowhawk. But there is a 'W' missing.

Reading down from the penultimate letter of 9A, I have (N,G,R,A,N,D,P)

I really do not have a clue as what to do with these letters.

The penultimate letter of 9 across is G. That replaces N in your list of omitted letters.

Thank you. My clumsy writing had made me think that percent was the full answer. Looking more closely, I now can see that the word is indeed three letters longer (of which I do have the answer).
