I have completed the grid.
Endgame requires 17 cells in two separate lines to be highlighted.
I see a name with 8 letters to be highlighted.
But can't figure out what the other 9 letters could be.

The other 9 letters spell out two words, one after the other, which relate to things happening in the quotation. (One of them is the very obvious word, very themey!)
