Thanks, Matakari - maybe threads plural if you're seeking help with Listener and EV?
It does fair better for keeping everything neat and tidy mate.
Like NAC said. Someone who may come here looking for Speccie help (But hasn't started the other two crosswords yet) would stumble upon help they might not need at this time.
It also helps others looking for threads of EV or Listener. (They won't find the help under a Speccie thread.
So best to open a separate thread for neatness. Not sure it will matter now as the new Speccie is out tomorrow. But maybe keep it in mind for future reference. :-)
Klazo, what a good, helpful, informative post! You mentioned things - such as people inadvertently coming across help/answers that they didn't want, and that's a very fair point.
Mind you, as you said, it's Spectator day tomorrow, so we could all be moving on.
And i'm looking forward to it too :-)
Shall we run a book on who's setting ?
My thoughts are Pabulum.
What say you NAC and Matakari ?
Klazo, I wouldn't like to guess, I'll just see what comes along. I tried to look back over the past few months, see the familiar names etc, but the usual link didn't work.
Thanks NAC. I'll wait for the surprise :-)
Klazo, 'surprises' are usually good - we'll have to take whatever comes our way.

I would like to hasard a guess with two names: Cheesesetter or Pabulum.
Either Pabulum or Lavatch.
Oh, I haven't heard of 'Cheesesetter' before. Now that might be a treat for me. :-)
I enjoy both of them novalis :-)
Another newish setter is La Jerezana... maybe it'll be her turn?
We had La Jerezana not so long back. But who knows :-)
Question Author
Hihihih, "CheeseCracker", I meant to say, Klazo! Would still be a treat!
"CheeseCracker" would also be new to me :-)
Now that takes the biscuit!
Tilly :-))
What a good start to Thursday - another great puzzle from Mr Magoo...
