Bbc Quiz : Week 17
27 Answers
Good evening.
I'm running a bit behind schedule because I've been catching up on some sleep tonight. The snooze seemed to help me with the main quiz anyway, as I managed a score of SIX out of seven this week:

The kids' quiz has some really easy question this week (as it should, of course) but I couldn't achieve a maximum score. FOUR out of five for me:
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /newsro und/513 18780
I was somewhat less successful in the Timed Teaser though, with a score of SIX out of ten this week:

So that's an aggregate of 16 for me. Can you do better, I wonder?

[I'm fine for a old'un, thank you. I hope that you're in top form too!]
Hi, Jourdain2. Well done on being a near-perfect kid (just like me) this week!
Good evening, Sandy! Full marks from you, I see - for consistency, that is!

6/7 v 2/7
4/5 v 2/5
6/10 v 5/10
16/22 v 9(!)/22 Let's move on...
Shady has been having sneezing fits these last few days - as I have, I think due to tree pollen. Various websites say : don't worry if there are no other symptoms so I've decided to take him to the vet if he shows any other symptons over the next few days...
What do you think?

Hi, Haras2!
Better luck next week with your scores ;-)
My understanding is that pollen allergy in cats usually presents itself as a skin irritation, rather than sneezing. My lot have all had occasional sneezing fits but they've invariably got over them without the need for any veterinary intervention. I'd only bother a vet with the problem if there were other symptoms (such as lethargy) or if it continued for quite some time.
I hope that the lovely Shady is fully fit soon anyway. (Of course I hope that you'll get over any hay fever problems quickly too. There have always done the trick for me: https:/ /grocer ies.asd a.com/p roduct/ view-al l-aller gy-hayf ever/as da-one- a-day-h ayfever -allerg y-10-mg -tablet s-lorat adine-t ablets- 30-pack /910001 308087 )
