Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

3 clues where I have the answer, but cannot see the parsing for the life of me.

Freudian concept - suggestion from Greedy Nan in briefest form? (8) ?U?E?E?O. Obviously SUPEREGO (Freudian concept).

Flag hoisted, soldiers had to disappear (9) E?A?O?A?E. Obviously EVAPORATE (disappear).

Infectiously egged on by fellow with no vowels in Scrabble (8) F??B?O?N. Obviously FLYBLOWN (Infectiously egged on). (Okay, I get the F from Fellow).

Flyblown is an anagram of "on by fellow" if you remove all the vowels - and flyblown means it has eggs on it I guess; Greedy Nan figures in an old nursery rhyme: "Come let's to bed" says Sleepy-head; "Tarry a while" says Slow; "Put on the pan" says Greedy Nan; "Let's sup before we go". So shortly written is Sup ere go.
