1 Answers
Why would my head unit sometimes lose its memory kinda?? Some days I'll start my vehicle an head unit has lost clock, date and radio stations are saved but just static untill I push one of my saved station buttons then other days it's absolutely fine?? Obviously not a wiring problem between constant and accessories so any ideas what's going on?

Many years ago my old Mondeo suffered from this intermittent problem – although the removable part was not a head unit, it was just an anti-theft feature.
The cure was to moisten my finger and rub it over the PCB contacts on the removable part and over the car audio mating contacts.
