Doc is back with another brain-wringing session. I’ve made quite good progress (even with a mild dose of Covid) but there’s one I think I’ve got and would like a second opinion on.

Wandering having gone off (12)

I’m thinking SLEEPWALKING…

TIA

Phew, finished it! Took me a while to work out the unclued theme, not because I couldn’t see it but we had the same theme fairly recently so I was trying to get all the words to fit something else. 4d convinced me otherwise.
Yes. To go off, to drop off, is to go to sleep, after which you wander. Nice clue! I’m stuck on 2 unclueds: 2 down M?N?O?T? and 29 across DR?AM. Dream?
Boethius, Yes to Dream.. The other one is the same name as a fairly well-known town in Wales...
I'm stuck on unclued 34a - I've got *pones and I'm sure all the letters I've got are correct. Any help will be gratefully received!
Question Author
It’s the clue with 2 words, as mentioned in the preamble.
Thank you, Neveracrossword!
Thanks, Boethius - I feel I didn't offer much in the way of help, just nudging you towards finishing off the puzzle.

Almost. The language in question is LADIN, spoken in the Dolomites, South Tyrol etc.
Forgot instruction to ignore 2 apostrophes. Thanks.
Question Author
I’d never heard of “usedn’t” before and I still can’t believe it’s real haha
