Tui Holiday Booking
13 Answers
Me and my sis booked a holiday in a Tui branch on Saturday. We told them what we were looking for etc. So we booked a holiday and payed an £80 deposit each towards cost of a 4 star platinum Tui holiday. It cost a bit more than we usually pay but it sounded lovely. When we have checked today the reviews are mostly terrible. so bad that we regret booking without checking it out first. Where do we stand regarding choosing a different holiday regarding deposit etc? Thanks in anticipation :-)

Hmm.
I was unaware of there being any cooling off period for travel bookings and ABTA says that there isn't either:

Further, Citizens' Advice make no mention of such a period

and neither does Gov.uk

However this firm of solicitors says that there's a 14-day cooling off period:

I'm confused!

Where a cooling-off period exists, companies are legally obliged to notify their customers of the fact. There's no such notification on the Tui website

So, alas for you, it sems that the solicitors' firm above doesn't seem to know the law!
