Interestingly (for boring nerds, like me), those articles were posted to AB's server well before there were ever any questions posted to the site. The first question, posted by ATOB2 (who was, no doubt, one of the people involved in setting up the site who was simply aiming to fill up some otherwise empty space) was this one:

The removed answers may have been a timely reaction to the predicted forward-slash shortages, flagged up by scientists the year before and part of a great recycling project which, alas fell by the wayside as overuse boomed.
