hi Bobbin, I have Turned Down for 1d - it fits, cos 8ac is Pull out of the fire, I think Scooke may have put take out of the fire to have the A in his letter clues
As 10ac is oN the hop (caught on the hop)

18ac fOurgreenfields so, turned down fits
The zombie one is the weird one for me, scooke has same letters as me as the answer is pandemic, an anagram, unless it a misprint by RTÉ (surprise surprise) I too would say undead but scooke's question is correct
