For all the solvers of RTE guide crossword this week, Ive had a response from the editor Jonathon about the messed up grid,
Many thanks for your email regarding the answers to 27 across/23 down in Rosebud Crossword No. 37.

You're absolutely right, it was one of those unfortunate (and thankfully rare) occasions where an error slips through the net. Rest assured that we will omit the two affected clues from our answer-checking process, and entries with all other clues correctly answered will be deemed valid.

Please accept our apologies for this oversight (and indeed pass on our apologies and thanks to the forum fans!) and many thanks for your continued support.
