I always thought GAZUNDER was a euphenism for a chamber pot (Origin:as in it gaz under the bed) but it appears to be a new house-sellers nightmare.

yeah it means put in a lower bid -  but English DOES recycle words ( gay fr'instance) - and chops not necessarily at the correct boundary and puts in an opposite
