Finished but cannot understand two answers:

Husband aiming for rising suns rays. Suz letters.I have -an-as

Also crossing this is low old square well worn at the edges. Six letters I have -ri-te.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

'Rays' refers to sea creatures rather than the sun.

'Low' refers to a state of mind or mood.

Like everybody else, I am struggling to parse mantas and triste!

Mantas could possibly be

mantas(rays) = man(husband, he's my man etc) + ta (at/reversed/rising, aiming for) + S(un)

triste (old word for low/sad) = S(quare) with trite (well worn/dull and boring/told too many times) at the edges/surrounding the "S"
