With the revival of vinyl, I wonder if any Abers have a record in their collection which might be worth a substantial amount? A Beatles album found in a charity shop recently sold for just over £4,000.

I once had over 200 albums, but when i went on my last tour of Ulster, they were put in 'safe' storage. When i got back, there were about 30 left. Course i reported it to the QMS, but he more or less shook his head and said there were so many with keys to the premises, it would be impossible to discover the culprit.
Weirdly, but fortunately for me, they left my stereo system alone and that was worth DM 1000!
Depends on quality and condition and rarity. I made a few hundred £ from my old collection, and that doesn't count my own album (which is very rare indeed!). Dark side of the moon got me a bit, but less than it would have made if it hadn't been ravaged by silverfish. Try a vinyl specialist company, and they will want to view and handle the discs before they make an offer.
