With the abandonement of Musselburgh there is no ITV 7 bet today and a scarcity of decent handicap races. However, the only way to find out if today's your lucky day is to have a punt, and i have chosen 3 from the meeting at Happy Haddock.

3.15;   Riders On The Storm @ 13/2 - 4 places

4.25;  Cream Of The West @ 9/2 - 4 places

30p Round Robin, 2 x £1 e.w. Trebles. 3 placed = £25, 3 winners = £1,082.

I've also had a small e.w. punt on Richard Fahey's Spirit Dancer @ 16/1 (4 places).in the 4.00 at Meydan. Up against some really good horses but could sneak into a place.

Shame that. It is lovely here bright and breezy, but no rain or snow, after weeks of the webby watsit giving dire warnings about being drowned or buried by snow over Easter. Did the 3 Haydock races because I had already picked them and added a 4th for an E/W Acca &Trebles with win Doubles. Good Luck.

I was reading earlier Ken about Sir Alex's runner Spirit Dancer in the 4.00pm and Frankie riding for the Gosdens on Lord North in the 3.10. Lord North is going for his 4th win at the World Cup meeting. Gosden said, he is getting on a bit now and needs to be coaxed along to get the best out of him and like all us oldies is starting to get a bit temperamental if things are not to his liking.  ...   However the horse is in very good order.😉
