Alphabites Does It Really Work Or Not?

The idea of the game is that the setter poses an original home-made clue which everybody is invited to solve. The poster who solves the clue first (hopefully identified by the setter) is then invited to post their own original clue, easy or cryptic.

Out of interest I counted up the ones I've used and it came to over 160 - and that doesn't include the handful I've made up on the spur of the moment. Where have they all gone ????
Of course, if we hadn't got to re-start the chain every so often the entry count would give us a good idea. Assuming two entries per clue, we've had over 100 clues already on this chain.
That aroused my statistical interests so checking back I found that Chain 3 had 2,773 entries, chain 2 had 1,611 entries and the first chain had 2,065 entries giving a total of 6,449 - that's about 3,200 clues - absolutely mind-boggling. (I hope my maths is good)
Keep up the good work everyone, it's been an amusing and entertaining ride. 😉😊😉😊😉😊😉😊
