Beautiful blue skies here, sun is shining and a very hot day is expected! Our window cleaner is due at 9 and I have the utmost respect for him - he's 80 years old and still whizzing up and down ladders no matter what the whatever!  When I asked him once why he was still working he said that he got rre-married late in life to a younger woman, and had a son who is now at uni, and who is costing him a fortune lol!   His wife apparently is now 60 and still has expensive tastes!

Good morning Smow, and all who follow.. I am enjoying a quiet time on my own atm, husband is having a lie-in and older son has gone back to his own house. Although I know its rubbish I am watching Say Yes to the Dress and mentally commenting on the brides choices. The amount some are willing to spend is ming boggling

Its lovely and sunny here, but I admit I dont like it now when it gets really hot

Morning all. I've had the same window cleaner for 40 years, luckily his son will be taking over when the time comes.

My wife was quite into a TV series about larger ladies choosing their wedding frocks, a shop somewhere in the south of England, I think. Not that I took any notice 😳

Good morning - well afternoon actually!! Just watching BBC news about the outage. Apparently it's affecting doctors' surgeries quite badly. Just glad I haven't needed to ring the surgery today. Hope your hand is better.
