It drives me mad the way burglary is considered a minor crime not worthy of investigation by Dibble - I can only assume the policymakers have never been burgled.
Well we've been burgled, and it was devastating - to the point that we had to sell-up as my wife could not get over the feeling of being violated. I wouldn't mind (as such) if all they'd done was nick TVs and stuff, but they trashed the place including ruining 100s of irreplaceable photos (this was 20+ years ago so before we were uploading photos), leaving taps running, crapping on the floor AND in our bed, and jizzing into my wife's underwear drawer. The police turned-up after 4 or 5 days and pretty much all they wanted to do was give a crime reference number for our insurance.
Burglary is a heinous crime and should be treated as such - it affects people deeply and should be prioritised over some hurty words on social media.
