Christmas In The Good Old Days

Went to the cinema lastnight for the first time in years. Was an experience to say the least lol. (Film was ok btw!). From the 'refreshment' counter refusing to sell you any snack or drink unless you'd pre- ordered it before you'd left your house & had a voucher(!?), unless u then went down 3 escalators to a machine to buy said voucher and come back up again.... to then going in to the screening room(they have 8) and finding that someone was sat in our pre booked seats and really didn't want to move! (They did in the end.....)
Anyway, what's todays plans?? Mrsmow is going to hang my birthday present for me! My in-laws bought me a huge clock that's for the garden to hang on a feature wall. It really is for decorative purposes but does actually tell the time, so looks great!

It's quite dreary here so a day indoors awaits me. I'll be putting a beef stew on in the slow cooker...its definitely the weather for it! I've got an Amazon delivery due. I bought some boots yesterday...reduced and I've had my eyes on them for a while. Hope they don't disappoint! Have a good day.
Very dreary day here as well, ran out of packing boxes yesterday, so cleaning everything in sight. Mr U will go to removal co first thing Monday to get some more.
Managed to get his tuna in the fridge marinating for tonights dinner. I am permanently exhausted at the moment and he needs to rest before 5 to 6 hour drive Tuesday. Now I can no longer take a stint he has to take the brunt.
