Thank you. I would never have got that. I saw someone else had the same problem, but there wasn't an answer  at that stage. I thought if I left it a while I would find out.

Thanks both of you!  I'd nearly finished it and was pretty  fed up. I preferred  their old style  cryptic  crossword,  at least you could work it out, not have to just look it up.

Thanks, Deersold. I don't do this puzzle, but I like looking in on the threads. I've been able to solve several clues over the past couple of months, and also got several wrong!
