There was a time when an invitation to a party hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs was one of the most sought-after tickets in the entertainment industry but no more.   His fall from grace has been swift, with an extensive federal criminal case charging him in a sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. More than a dozen civil lawsuits have also been filed, accusing the music mogul of assaults, rape and sexual extortion. One lawyer said he represents more than 100 alleged victims who claim they were sexually abused.

I've only vaguely heard of this person but, like so many others, it seems he thought his celebrity was a Get out of Jail Free card.  It wasn't because that's exactly where he is.

Never heard of him, but one law for the rich and famous and one law for us plebs is nothing new

Damn savage.......etc

Koomz has morphed to 'Combs' - the thing you use to primp your hair

and he doesnt look as awful as Harris ( Rolf) or the awfull leerer who sang 'my ting-a-ling'

watch out there is a slasher about

There certainly seems to be a lot of rotten apples in the barrel of the rich and famous:

Jeffrey Epstein

Prince Andrew

Louis CK

Russell Brand

R Kelly

Harvey Weinstein

Bill Cosby

Kevin Spacey

It would appear that when a (male) celebrity has a certain level of fame they think they're untouchable...unlike any woman who comes into their orbit (except Spacey obvs).

Has he been found guilty?

YMB, why do you keep reapeating that line when you yourself have deemed some guilty without a trial?

Good to see Answerbank has eventually caught up with this massive story though.

Well is he?

I'd say, yes he is.

O god, Mods making things clearer again

Yes I think he has been charged ( 7 d ago, sex trafficking) oh god please dont say that our little posts here will compromise a jury trial in the Land of the Free ( hence contempt etc) or else our Mods will have a field day - they were covered in enough unnecessary blood by midday

YMB

Yes...he's guilty of the arrogancce shown by certain male celebrities. Whether he's guilty of the crimes he's been arrested for, only time will tell.

But he's 100% guilty of this...

no the mods get over-wrought with the very thought of prejudicing a trial ( hem hem) and so only mimsy stuff gets thro

well THAT will soon go ! eek !

SP1814, wasn't Kevin Spacey found not guilty?

Mozz71

You're right - I've checked and he was found not guilty both in the US and UK (there were multiple cases).

Please redact!

Kevin Spacey - all the witnesses were disbelieved - delete delete I suggested that in another case aboove. And out it went !

only mimsy stuff please

( PP shudders at the propect of true stuff being deemed untrue)

Answerbank members are more likely to remember him as Puff Daddy, althogh he's had other names too like P Diddy

Kevin Spacey - Lord Alli and Huw Edwards were propositioning young men and money was changing hands

Post facto ( a Latin phrase inserted er slipped in just to enrage the mods) there was a lot of squawking by the younger parties. A view was they ( young person = perrhaps not so young financially  -) knew what was going on

Not every charge results in a conviction as we well should know
