No...you look old, too!

Question Author

What - you can see me !!!?

He's 56 and IMO looks well for that age

none of us are getting any younger me old china!

Question Author

Perhaps it's because most of the programmes he has made are from a few  years ago now.

Love watching and listening to him

When does he do his work as a professor at Manchester University?  He's never off TV, radio, podcasts and even does live tours.  Can't stand his voice and simpering delivery - he should stick to teaching.

He IS sticking to teaching, just on the telly.

He works on the LHC me old china, and you don't have to be there.

Question Author

Leave him alone - you hear me ?

No, not got my ear trumpet in, you young whipper snapper !

Like Brainiac, I'm not keen on his voice and delivery either.  I feel like he needs winding up to go a bit quicker.  I really want to say 'get on with it!'.  I didn't  realise he's 56 though.  He's wearing well enough.

Question Author

//really want to say 'get on with it!'.//

Don't agree

Now -  if we were talking about Robert Preston

The long-dead actor or the author?

I quite like Robert Peston's delivery, but he often looks to me as if he's slept in his suit in the car overnight.

I used to enjoy watching Brian Cox but he just seems to be going over the same ground now.

Question Author

'Peston '

good script tho'

whilst enjoying the series , I am having trouble deciding what is genuine footage and what is simulated, EG we are shown the surface of say Pluto and told that the pictures were taken on a particular mission, then they show the probe passing over the surface, what photograhed the probe?

Most of the visuals are CGI representations. It makes for a better viewing experience.

interesting wiki article - was a keyboard player for D:ream

odd - particle physicist ( ver' liddle liddle things in the universe - I have reverted to AB speak) and spends his tee-vee time on the solar system. ( er big big big)

The Theory of  Everything is to unify the two branches and is still on Brian Cox' to-do list !
