When you've been messaging on WhatsApp then press Clear Chat, does that just clear the messages at your end or also for the person you've been messaging?

It only clears the chat at your end. I've just cleared a chat to my Mrs, but everything is still on her WhatsApp.

Although I forgot to add, you can delete a message to someone if they haven't seen it, or got the two blue ticks as it were.
