I write stories & scripts & have looooaaaadddsss of bits of ideas, part written stories, one liners, jokes, snippets, title ideas, character names etc etc etc.

But theyre all currently in hundreds of Word or Libre Office documents & just stored in a folder on my laptop.

Does anyone know of any software that would make using & storing all this stuff easier & nicer to work with?
Something dedicated to this that i can customise etc, maybe even link docs together, add keywords, labels, colour coding etc -that kind of thing.

Im unaware of anything specifically aimed at this purpose, but wonder if there may be something thats aimed at another purpose that could be adjusted to this usage?

any ideas?
thanks :)
I may repost in arts & literature?

Evernote might suit you, it syncs across all your devices

an aside - which do you prefer, Word or Libre?

I used to use MS  Cardfile a lot back in the day. It was discontinued and I've never found anything like it, I think it would have been useful for you

one note?

The organized writer on YouTube seems to have found something that works.

Just saying, that ^ video recommends Ulysses software, which is only available for use with Apple products.

Possibly worth a look?
