The cold weather has put paid to this afternoon's 3 jumps meetings leaving just the 2 all-weather tracks. As they don't get interesting until after The Clarets have beaten their arch-rivals (fingers, toes eyes and legs crossed) in a 12;30 kick off, i won't be having a proper look just yet.

Always put a tenner on a 2-1 Clarets win - no matter who we play. Drawn over a ton twice in recent weeks. We are 9/1 to win 2-1 today.

Done a quick long odds E/W punt before we get out for an hour. Will need to be back before this weather closes in and makes the roads dodgy. There is a biting cold wind with no break in the grey cloud from horizon to horizon. E/W Acca, Trebles Doubles all at Southwell. May look a Wolverhampton when we get back. Good Luck if you have a punt and careful if you venture out later.

In The Breeze  @28/1  5.05
Eldeyaar  @14/1  5.35
Beneficiary  @10/1  6.05
Glendown  @22/1  6.35

All paying 4 places.

Job done .... up the Clarets  :)

Never in doubt, Gizmo hahaha.

Sod the tenner, the 3 pts are all important. Had we been beaten, i would have gone back to bed and stayed there for a week.

Best of luck with those, Togo. I've done;

5.35 So;   Bomb Squad @ 8/1 - 4 places

7.20 Wo;  Split Elevens @ 17/2

8.20 Wo;  Crafter @ 13/2 - 4 places

50p Patent, 2 x £1 e.w. trebles. £30 for the e.w. and 3 winners would net £1,640.

Also done some 'shorties' in a 50p Yank, 50p acca on Glen Buck (9/4), Fircombe Hall (5/2), Rebel Empire (13/4) and Angel of Antrim (6/4) for a poss return of £229.

Not bothered if they all win or come in plumb last. I'm in far too good a mood to let losing a few quid spoil my day. 😉
