I have a 256mb JNC ssf-702 mp3 (v. 030.000) player and at the moment it is pretty much frozen and I can't do anything with it.
It happened when I put an mp3 file onto it which had a but rate of 256kbps.
At the time I didn't realize it couldn't read files with that high of a bit rate.
Anyway, now when I turn the unit on it just says "No Files" and won't let me go to any other songs on the player or in fact go anywhere other than the "No files" screen.
Actually that's not entirely true - I can navigate through the options screens: ie Now Playing/fm radio/settings/file etc.
If I try to delete the file through the file/delete menu it simply won't go past music/voice to the actual file to be deleted.
I also tried clearing the play list and formatting the player through the same menu but neither option helped.
Also when I tried to plug the player into my computer again to maybe delete the file that way it won't read that the player exists - rather it gives this message:
E:/ is not accessible
The request could not be performed because of a I/O device error.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your time
