great danes

I have a Great Dane who is 11 years old ,is this a record age as i have been told that danes only live to about 7-9years usually

That certainly is a good age for a Great Dane, I googled this, and the best I found was 12 years old.

I know of one who lived to 13 and a half and plenty that have lived to 12 plus. Many don't reach their natural lifespan because of health problems, but if they are healthy they should live to about 12.
