my nokia 6260 won't send text messages anymore!

perhaps wishful thinking that someone may actually know how to help me with this, but it won't hurt to ask......ive had my nokia 6260, for about 15 months and just recently everytime i send a text message it doesnt send it, instead it goes straight into the outbox for resending at a later time.....however, after a few attemps of resending it, adventually it fails. im guessing i've probably just pressed something without knowing it, or mayb dropped it on the floor one to many times! i know its unlikely but does anyone know why its doing this or what i need to do on the phone to put it right? otherwise its a trip down to the O2 shop for me!

make sure you have the correct message centre number entered. It's not unusual for them to go wrong somewhere. If you're not getting calls either, then you may need to reconnect to the network manually.
