Kung Fu classic film

There was a classic kung fu film that was played on C4 years ago as part of a season. All i can remember was that in one scene a barge was floating down a river and was attacked by loads of ninjas who pole vaulted across from the banks. I think this film might of been part of a series, but unfortunately this is all I can recall of it !! Can anyone help identify this ???

I think I know what film you are on about. It WAS called 'The Legend of Fong-Sai-Yuk' and starred Jet Li amongst others, but I think since its UK release it's now known as 'Legend of the Fist' (not to be confused with Jet Lis other kung-fu classic 'Fist of Legend'). There are numerous sequels, but one and two are the best.
