Daily expresss or newspaper similar
Can anyone remember an ad many moons ago (approx 15-20years maybe....or maybe not that long 10 years...) about a man in a business suit, carrying a brief case, walking past a building with scaffolding on the front, then a skinhead type geezer runs up and grabs, pulling at his arm, as though he is gonna steal the brief case.
The next scene shows exactly the same but from the businessman's point of view and he is grabbing at the skin head type guy, trying to attack him in a kind of accusing manner......
the third scene shows the 'full picture' - which is basically what the ad is telling you - ie you get the full picture in the "XXX" newspaper.....and there is a large object falling from a height from the building - the skin head man has just grabbed the guys arm to get him outta the way from getting crushed by it - the businessman is unaware of the danger until the object is smashed to the floor next to him...
This ad used to really choke me up - like when a yob stands up on the bus for a granny or something. Does anyone remember it.....?

We have a parallel example in the 'Farmer's Union' ad currently running where the group of youths pass the lady with her bags and the one with the ubiquitous 'hoodie' bumps into her, knocking her purse into the gutter. One of the 'gang' bends down and picks up same, berating his hooded pal in the process.
I believe the one you're describing does indeed belong to the 'Daily Express'.
It certainly was for the Guardian. Download the ad here:
