Optical Illusion Road in Scotland

Apparently there is a road in Scotland where you look like your driving up hill when in acutall fact you are going down hill. Does anyone know anything about it, where it is or has picutres??

I've been on it loads...my Grandpa used to take us to it when we visited, as it wasn't too far from my grandparents home. It's a cool and funny thing, esp. if you're a kid, as you truly think you're free wheeling up a hill.

We've got at least two of them here in the Isle of Man. It's all to do with the surrounding hills which make the road/hill you are on look as if they are go up instead of downhill and vice versa. Ours are called magnetic hills and they're really great things to experience!

yes i was on it when i was a boy, bus stopped and we poked our heads out the window, and the bus rolled back up the hill, coolest thing! i thought it was near a place called paisley, guess i was mistaken?

Its known locally as 'The Electric Brae' and is in south Ayrshire near Culzean Castle. I visited the place once and to be honest I could not really see the optical illusion at work. Just looked like a normal hill to me. I know about the place because my wife comes from the area.
