Right, I'm going to explain this really badly but here goes.
On certain sites, such as guardian.co.uk, I will click on a link, but then want to return to the previous page. The back button seems to do nothing so I check 'the back drop-down list' (or whatever it's called) and i see that between my current page and the previous page are one or two (but sometimes about six) pages called something like '
http://ads.guardian.co.uk/etc etc'
I have to click past these to get to the page i want. It's not a big deal - it just annoys me that single click of the Back button doesn't work. I have to click several times or use the drop-down list.
I've also noticed that it's only my home computer that does this. The problem doesn't exist on my work PC. Have I got some kind of spyware? I'm clueless about these things.
Is there any way of solving this gripe?? Thanks.
