Generalist

Last month, which was my first time doing the Generalist thanks to it being recommended by JimJools, the puzzle had blackened squares and when I finished it and took the letters from those squares I got a word - distilleries. But this month the puzzle doesn't have any blackened squares. I'm working on it at the moment but wonder why the difference between August and September?
I appreciate any help or advice that can be forwarded to me. Thanks in advance.

Hi ontarioice it looks as if this sept one is just straightforward , and no theme to solve, Good Luck.
Hope you win several on here have now, will give it a miss this time anyway can't print it, I did some updates with XP windows and messed my printing up and can't get packard bell help, at least can still get answer bank on laptop

Thanks Pega for the info. I don't think mine would reach its destination by closing date as I'm having a hard time with it and even if I do finish it Canada Post is not noted for its swiftness - unlike the Royal Mail.

iF You need any help post questions and will sure we'll help do post it sept 8th is closing date, if you got it done by monday would get here airmail, worth a try, Royal mail isn't so good takes days to arrive, I did enjoy my trip to Toronto and stay in oakville some years ago, canada is a great place.
