how do i type the sign trademark ?

Hold Alt on your keyboard and press 0153 on the number pad on the right.

To find any others, click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools then Character Map (or Start, Run and type in charmap)
Click whichever symbol you want to create and at the bottom right, it'll tell you which number to type in while holding Alt.
