A big thanks to the following:kayakamina, sarumite, paulneward, devadiva,shaneystar2 and ulysses100. How do you manage to get all the answes so quickly! I've only just finished Sund Tel 724 and am now struggling with Mon Herculis. Only 7 answers to go!

Thankyou addict. As paulineward says we do do other things as well ! I look at the site most days at differing times and, if I can help with an answer (before kayakamina does!)then I help. I have been doing crosswords of all kinds for many, many years -- and it just comes down to experience (knowing crossword types and compilers) with a good helping of general knowledge as well. As Pauline and Ulysses have said if you ever need help all you have to do is ask- that is the purpose of Answerbank.

Yes as ulysses says experience and getting to understand the compiler helps. I struggle more with the cryptics, but the other people you mentioned..and some others have helped me a great deal, and I think I am getting a bit better with them. This site is a brilliant help. There's always somebody who can and is willing to help.
Anyway....have you finished the Herculis yet??!!
