Crazy itchiness.
5 Answers
I have got quite a few little bumps on my hands and forearms which have developed over last week or so. They come and go, but reappear in the same place. My skin itchess like hell around them. I have one or two on other parts of my body too. Haven't changed washing powder or anything and dont have pets-it's driving me mad. Has anyone got any suggestions as to what's causing it?

Thanks Pinkfizz. sounds delightful-it all fits besides the 'weal's I've just got tiny raised lumps few mm across which do not have a redness around them (welll only I've given them a good scratch!!). Ah well, I'll see if it goes-if not it'll be trip to the docs (and how pathetic will I feel there sat amongst all the fluey and properly ill and I've just got itchy skin!)
The pics on most urticaria sights normally show the worst cases.I actually have had it for a year now - when I started it looked like I had german measles - it just appeared one day and drove me nuts, then it would go down for a few hours, back up again. My lega and tummy were smothered.Hospital said a common virus could have triggered it and it could take up to 2 years to work its way out of my body! I have had to take daily high doses on antihistamine for a year and it cleared, but this week I forgot to take them and I now have some spots on tummy and chest.Tryand get some antihistamines from chemist and see how it goes.x
