This has been asked several times recently and - on these occasions - the answer given was 'chota peg', apparently to fit into a crossword grid. This was the Hindi name given to such drinks and used by British officials in India during the days of the Raj.
Take my advice...don't ask for one in a Scottish pub...they'll have no idea what you're talking about!

in scotland we would call it a dram or nip but maybe thats not the answer.
