After having watched this programme Channel 4 Thurs 11/01/07. I found the content rather disturbing, did anyone else?
Although it is always enlightening to get the other sides view of things, I was a little uneasy watching the reporter, laughing and shaking hands with the very people that are killing our troops out in Afghanistan.
At one stage the reporter (Sean Langdan) is seen laughing along with a 17 year old suicide bomber who already had explosives fastened around his waist, waiting for the call to blow up himself and I don't know how many more, on behalf of Islam.
Is all this any different to say during WW2 sending out a reporter to laugh, joke and shake hands with members of the SS camp guards, in the quest of finding out the reasons behind why they were gassing the inmates of the camps? Am I looking too deeply into this TV programme? I dont know, but I am sure you will let me know.
